Are you happy with where you are in life? Or would you like to create a change? Maybe you do, but don’t know how you are going to do it? Or maybe you want to change or transition into a new way of life, but you are afraid of what can happen?
So many people never change because they get caught up in the life they have been living for years. Maybe at this point, they have a family, a secure job or a community that is counting on them.
How do we make a smooth transition then without disrupting too much of our life?
Well, our guest on the show today was Kingsley Grant, motivational speaker, author, coach, and podcaster. He helps people to transition into a new way of life smoothly so that people can fulfill their dreams with as little pain as possible. We all know change and growth can be painful, so how do we do it without creating suffering for ourselves and the people around us?
Script your STORY. What story have you been telling yourself about your life and how can you create a new story that will serve you in the direction you want to go in life?
Map out your MISSION. Why do you do what you do? What kind of mission are you on in life and how can you do more of that?
Cut out the OBSTACLES. You need to get rid of the obstacles that are in your way, the things that are not serving you or the people around you. This will free up some space for your dreams to come true.
Open the OPPORTUNITIES. They are everywhere! You need to take a look at the opportunities in front of you and ask yourself which ones you want to pursue and which ones you can live without.
Train your TIME. Success often comes down to the numbers game; how are you using your 24 hours per day? Become a master of the calendar and learn to schedule your time intelligently.
Hit a HOLE IN ONE. This is just another way of saying do something that will bring you closer to your goal, NOW. Creating even a small win right away could be the exact push you need moving forward towards the change you want to make.
Use this S.M.O.O.T.H acronym to ask yourself the questions you need to gain clarity and to achieve whatever it is you are after.
